Queens Botanical Garden Wedding

Tashie and Ronnie Married! {Queens, New York}

I am sure you guys remember Tashie and Ronnie!

They are basically the sweetest!

This was my first time photographing a reception at the Queens Botanical Gardens. I am now officially in love with it. And then there’s the fact that Tashie and Ronnie looked lovely in every spot I put them in, so they deserve at least half the credit! The ceremony location was under shaded trees, in the wedding garden. A beautiful open space full of flowers that allows for beautiful wedding photos! The reception was just as adorable and personal as the ceremony, so many perfect little details!

Maybe my very favorite part of the day, though, was watching Tashie and Ronnie exchange their vows. They were so heartfelt and unique, and the way that they made each other smile (and, at times, laugh out loud) during the ceremony is truly a testament to their love and the marriage before them. Also the way they included their daughters in the ceremony was so sweet I think I teared up!

Winter Central Park Proposal

Quentin and Marilet Engaged! {New York, NY}

Meet Quentin and Marilet!

They are the definition of awesome! They are super fun and playful and it’s so clear how much they love each other! Quentin wanted the proposal to be a surprise, so he emailed me months before to see if I could photograph his proposal and I was overjoyed. From the very beginning, he gushed about Marilet! The love he has for her was so evident and the thought and care he put into planning this proposal was without a doubt one of the most romantic things I have experienced!

As the weeks went by, the plan for the proposal came together seamlessly. Our location was the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, Marilet flew in a few days before and they planned an early morning stroll through central park. The weather was lovely, it was a beautiful sunny Morning. We had some time after for a quick engagement session with the newly engaged couple, and WOW are these two in love! Marilet is so beautiful and radiant, and the way Quentin looks at her is just adorable! We ended the session at an adorable coffee shop, it was a bit of a trek but they were good sports! It ended up being the perfect spot to wrap up the perfect morning!

It was so much fun to photograph their beautiful proposal!! and I am so so so excited for these guys to tie the knot!!! Yay!

Kamilyah and Garth Engaged! {Brooklyn, NY}

Meet Kamilyah and Garth!

They are high-school sweethearts and they are SO adorable together!

I knew Kamilyah and Garth were meant to be my clients when they immediately asked if their dog could be part of their session. Dog people are just good people! (Unfortunately their fur baby was unable to make it, darn hotels and their rules!) They live in DC but traveled to NYC for their session, little did we know that the day we picked would be the coldest day all year. It was cold. Like really really cold but it was completely and totally worth it …And something tells me that when you as in love as Kamilyah and Garth the world feels a little warmer anyway. It was the epitome of a beautiful winter session.

I had so much fun walking around Brooklyn getting to know them better and I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!

Winter Central Park Engagement

Susie and Felix Engaged! {New York, NY}

Meet Susie and Felix!

They are a couple so sweet it’ll make you blush, this e-session is what winter daydreams are made of.

I knew I was in love with Susie and Felix when they agreed to do their engagement shoot on a snowy day in Central Park. Sometimes, when you know, you just know…..but seriously, how much fun are these two? I am officially jealous of whoever gets to photograph their wedding. Susie and Felix are from sunny CA and decided to do an engagement session in NY, while on the east coast for work. They got engaged on a tour bus in NYC last year (high five Felix for being ultra adorable), and thought it would be special to have the photos here.

It was really fun to have a little snow day with them, here are some of my favorites from my dream winter engagement shoot:
