Preston and Carson Engaged! {Brooklyn, NY}

Meet Preston and Carson!

Their love is some of the sweetest I have ever seen! They met each other a camp…..Preston was smitten almost immediately, Carson had some reservations as dating co-workers was against the rules. Despite their best efforts to avoid each other, the immediate attraction grew into an adorable love story!

I know I say this often…………but I really love when sessions end and I feel like I walk away with new friends. That’s how Carson and Preston’s engagement session finished; with hugs, farewells and “hope-to-see-you-agains” because we really had an awesome time together.

Thanks for asking me to be a part of such a special day!

Victor and Neelam Engaged! {Brooklyn, NY}

Meet Victor and Neelam!They are engaged!

It was so cute… It all started with an email asking if I could take pictures while he pops the big question to his girlfriend. He got on an airplane, flew from England to NYC, and somehow against her protests (heels are not ideal for garden) got her to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.  There was only one small detail……. he didn’t want her to know I was there. It was probably the most nervous I’ve been about photographing anything for a while……. this was my first proposal!

Victor had never been to the Botanical Gardens, so he planned the location from the map, but unfortunately it didn’t work out exactly as planned.  It all happened a bit faster than he expected, but the results were fantastic! After all of the hugs, kisses, and the initial shock wore off, I was revealed and we had a short portrait session.

Their love is easy going and comfortable. Even in the minutes between photos when my camera was down, they were romantic; I could tell they truly enjoyed every moment with each other.

Adam & Diana Engaged! {Baltimore, MD}

Meet Adam and Diana! They are the sweetest, and the nicest, and the cutest!

I have known Adam for a number of years, and when he first introduced me to Diana I knew they had something special! These two have such a great energy about them; they have fun together like kids that are best friends do.

Adam and Diana are sports fans…..just not for the same teams. They have a friendly Ravens/Redskins rivalry that we incorporated into the session, and she chose Ravens purple for their outfits!

For their session we wandered around Baltimore’s beautiful Inner Harbor; it was a chilly yet lovely autumn day, with so many perfect backdrops for us to choose from!

Maybe it’s just because I’m a little partial to the subjects; but this session is definitely one of my favorites to date!

See for yourself!

Matt and May are the kind of people you want to go on road trips and hangout on Sunday afternoons with.  So happy, so beautiful, so in love. We had a blast wandering around Fells point all morning and taking photos. We followed the session with a delicious brunch with a bunch of our friends. It was a perfect day!

Their Halloween themed wedding is in October and I am bursting with excitement!

Greg and Danielle Engaged!! {Washington Heights, NY}

Meet Greg and Danielle!

I had the lovely opportunity of shooting their engagement photos at Fort Tryon Park a few weeks back! I was so excited when they decided on this park, a gorgeous couple and an amazing setting to set the stage for a wonderful engagement session!

Greg and Danielle met online about 6 years ago, and it was not long before they knew they were meant to be. They decided to get married on the day that they first sent messages to each other……ADORABLE! Not only is their love for each other obvious, but you can see their strong friendship they have due to the roots they have already created in each others lives.

I am so excited for their September wedding at Burr Homestead, in Connecticut!

Jim & Erin Engaged! {Stirling, NJ}

Meet Erin and Jim!

They met in a bar. I have learned that there are so many variations of “we met in a bar.” There is something a little       magical about it. Like, you just knew when you saw them, kind of magic.

Jim is Rob’s youngest (and strongest) brother. See what I did there Jim! 🙂

I have known Jim for a little over three years and Erin for about two, but it was during this session that I saw how       perfectly they balance each other out, and how they really did complete each other.

The day it was sooo chilly with a strong icy wind and some flurries. Jim and Erin did an amazing job of snuggling – the cold barely phased them! Erin and I were hoping for some snow BEFORE the session, not during! The location of this session was held on at Big Stirling, where they got engaged! There were so many amazing spots everywhere we turned! Between the old buildings, the forest and the lake – it was a photographer’s dream!

This session was very special to me, and I am very excited about their wedding this August!

Enjoy the highlights from this adorable session!
